- I love color and paint in a very loose and expressive style. My intention with my paintings is to simplify shapes and communicate harmony and joy. Living in the country with my husband, our 3 children, numerous dogs, cats, chickens and gardens give me continued inspiration for my paintings. I am inspired by the art of Milton Avery, Rudy Autio, Matisse, and Bonnard.

When I look at one of your paintings, my endorphins dance
I smell summer and deep relalxation.
I want to reach out for the cup of tea,
and I feel my cat's tail unfurling as he wraps around my ankles with a purr.
such a moment of joy caught!
