- I love color and paint in a very loose and expressive style. My intention with my paintings is to simplify shapes and communicate harmony and joy. Living in the country with my husband, our 3 children, numerous dogs, cats, chickens and gardens give me continued inspiration for my paintings. I am inspired by the art of Milton Avery, Rudy Autio, Matisse, and Bonnard.

Saw your work at the Sawmill last weekend and absolutely LOVED it! Bought the card of this piece and I'm looking at it on my desk as I type. It makes me HAPPY! I love your use of color and your choice of still life objects. One of these days, I hope to have the money to buy a BIG colorful happy piece.
